The Getty Center houses the extraordinary collection of pre-20th century paintings and antiquities brought together by oil magnate J. Paul Getty. The spectacular new Getty Center, situated on 600 mountaintop acres overlooking West Los Angeles. Attendance at the Museum is limited by a reserved parking system. Parking fees are $5 per car. Public transportation, as well as numerous shuttle services available from your hotel in Santa Monica, can also deliver you directly to The Getty Center. Beverly HillsBeverly Hills, perhaps the world's best-known enclave of the rich and famous, is only 15 minutes from Santa Monica. You can reach it by car, cab or public transportation.
